Toy Portrait

We were required to take a picture of a toy portrait. The objective was to make a formal style toy portrait. In these pictures, I believe lighting was the most difficult thing to deal with. The elements shown in these pictures are shape, space, and texture. A principle shown in these pictures is emphasis.

Narrative

We were assigned to take a picture of a narrative of three to seven pictures belonging to one person. I decided to collect my valued possessions for my narrative photo. The elements shown in this picture are shape, color, space, and texture. The principles shown in this picture are unity and emphasis.

Still Life

In this unit, we were required to take pictures of a kitchen utensil and something found in the bathroom. I decided to take a picture of a whisk and dental floss. The elements of art shown in these pictures are shape, color, space, and texture. These elements are displayed throughout the both pictures due to their physical design. The principles of design shown in this pictures are movement and emphasis because the viewer's eyes moves throughout the photo and both the whisk and dental floss are
emphasized.

Surrealist Image

We were assigned to take a surrealist image. A surrealist image is a photo of something that isn't real. In this photo, I cropped out a bear and pasted it on a picture of our school's cafeteria. In this picture the elements of art are line, shape, and texture because of the structure and shape of the cafeteria and bear.

Warhol

We were assigned to compose a photo in the design of Andy Warhol. In order to complete this picture, I had to use Photoshop. I was able to make this picture by using different layers and filling it with different colors. The elements of art shown in this picture are shape and color. The principles of designi shown in this picture are emphasis and pattern.

Portrait Pet

We were assigned to take a portrait of a pet and their owner. The objective of this project was to be able to display the relationship between the pet and their owner. I decided to take a formal portrait of the pet and their owner because their relationship between each other is very close and loving. The elements of art shown in this picture is line, shape, texture, and color. The shape and texture are displayed by the pet, the line is displayed on the floor, and color is displayed throughout the whole photo. The principles of design shown in this photo are emphasis because it emphasizes on the pet and its owner.

Zoo

Formal:
The class was assigned to take three pictures in particular on our trip to the zoo which were formal, popart, and environmental. The formal picture was supposed to show an animal displayed in a formal portrait. The popart style picture was made with the help of Photoshop. Lastly, the environmental photo was a picture of an animal in their environment. The elements of art shown in these pictures are line, shape, color, and texture. The principles of design shown in these pictures are unity, emphasis, and proportion.

Joiner's Photomontage

This photograph is a composition of many photos of my room. We were assigned to take pictures from the same distance. Elements of Art in this photo are line, shape and form, color, and space because of the objects shown in the picture. Principles of design shown in this photo are unity, variety, movement, and proportion. Unity is shown because all of the objects in the photo are in one room, and it shows variety because they're different objects in the room. Movement is implied because the viewer looks all over the photo and proportion is shown between the speakers and tv.
